Hello! I specialize in tattoos of a realistic and illustrative nature. I work comfortably in both color and black and grey. I’m open to discussing projects in different styles; if I don’t feel like I’m the right artist for your piece, I can do my best to point you towards another one of our talented in house or guest tattooers who may be a better fit. 

I hold my consultations over email. PLEASE respond to all emails that you receive from me or my assistant- it makes the process much smoother. I’m open to answering any questions that I can over email about booking timeframes, pricing, budget, etc.- but please understand that some questions cannot be answered until the day of your appointment. I’ll always be as transparent as possible!

I do NOT send drawings to clients, or have drawings ready, before your scheduled appointment time.

Rates:

Half Day Rate: $600

Required Deposit: $150 (per session)

-A Half day consists of drawing/ design layout if needed. 3-4 hours of tattooing, aftercare instructions. 

*For some larger projects, a half day may not be an adequate amount of time to start our project. 

Full Day Rate: $1000

Required Deposit: $150 (per session)

- A Full Day consists of drawing/ design lay out. 5-7 hours of tattooing. Aftercare instruction. 

*For larger scale work I require a full day session to start the project. This is due to the amount of time it will take to plan, stencil, tattoo, including breaks, etc. I do my best to have drawings ready for clients when they come for their appointments- sometimes this is stencil-ready, other times freehanding is best. We’ll make that decision at the time of your appointment. 

Smaller tattoos: $ Varies

Required Deposit: $150

- Smaller tattoos are tattoos that I deem will take me less than a half day session. These tattoos will be priced off of design, size, location on the body, style of tattoo and detail.

Deposits:

-All deposits are non-refundable! You will not be given an appointment until the deposit is paid. 

For larger scale work we will hold the deposit until the last session of your project. Upon completion of the project, your deposit will be taken off the final price. Deposits are not transferrable or able to be used with any other artist or service The Crucible provides. If you are running late to your appointment *please* notify us promptly. If you are 15 mins late with no notice we will contact you, if you are 30 mins late with no notice, you will sacrifice both your appointment and deposit. 

Artistic Freedom:

I understand that a tattoo is a permanent ‘art installation’ to your body- and if you book with me, that means you think I’m the one to provide you with that beautiful new piece. Thank you for your trust! I politely ask my clients give me artistic freedom with their ideas. By working together with your ideas and my artistic experience, I believe that we can come up with the best possible tattoo- one that you’ll love and wear proudly every day! Be specific with your ideas and goals, but leave a little wiggle room for me to do my thing; after all, that’s why we’re both here!

I will not copy another artist’s tattoo or drawing. I am, however, happy to use another piece as a reference point to begin planning for a piece that’s unique to you. References are good- too many references are not. Try not to overwhelm the process with tons and tons of photos.  

Special Advice:

In order for me to work at my best, I need you to be at your best! These bits of advice will help you prepare for your session:

- Get a full night of rest the night before.

- Do NOT consume excessive amounts of alcohol/drugs the night prior. Try to avoid taking any ibuprofen or pre-workout the day before and the morning of your appointment.

- Eat some food before your session. Come full and hydrated!

- Be aware that menstruation can effect your overall pain tolerance while getting tattooed.

- Please consult me before applying anything to your skin just prior to your appointment. Numbing cream, etc.

- Bring snacks and water for stretch breaks.

- Dress appropriately for me to be able to access the area we will be tattooing in. If this is a private or sensitive area, wear layers. We can set up privacy screens for your comfort.

- If you are prone to being cold, bring an extra layer of clothing.

- Be cautious of your caffeine consumption the morning of your appointment.

-  If you like to listen to your own music, please bring headphones.

- We appreciate if you take phone calls on breaks, not during the actual tattoo process.
